Our workshops aim to provide simple, actionable steps for everyone to begin this journey.<\/p>\n<h2>The Importance of Self-Care for Bystanders<\/h2>\n<p>Coping Mechanisms for Emotional Impact of InterventionWhen intervening, it\u2019s crucial to consider personal safety and the emotional toll such situations can take. I advise people to think about how they would want a bystander to act if they were the target of harassment. Even small actions can have a significant impact. It\u2019s about finding ways to intervene safely and effectively, making progressive strides towards a more responsible and empathetic society.<\/p>\n<p>Through my time at Fairspace, I&#8217;ve seen firsthand the power of education and action in combating street harassment. Bystander intervention is not just a reactive measure; it&#8217;s a proactive step towards societal change.
