How might we encourage students and education staff to create a safe university experience?
As a result of our bystander intervention trainings, both students and staff were equipped with the know-how, the mindsets and the tools to become public safety ambassadors on campus.
Both students and staff reported an increase in awareness about the experiences of female and minority students and, in turn, an increase in feelings of accountability towards each other to ensure that everyone on campus feels safe and confident.
